Austin Bank Gives Over $3,000 in Proceeds to Lindale ISD Education Foundation

Austin Bank opened their first branch in the Lindale community earlier this spring. When the branch doors opened, Austin Bank’s first action was giving back to the Lindale ISD Education Foundation in support of the youngest members of our community.

For each new checking account opened through the last day of June, Austin Bank deposited $25.00 in their customers’ checking account and donated another $25.00 to the Foundation.

"The Education Foundation is excited for the growth of Austin Bank in Lindale, and we are honored that they dove head first into our community by giving back to the education of our kids,” said Lindale ISD Education Foundation President Vickie Frazier.  “It's small town businesses like this that are making a big impact on the successful cultivation of our future leaders."

Austin Bank donated the $3,575.00 in proceeds during a check presentation this past Tuesday.

“It is a goal of Austin Bank to build a strong connection between the Bank and the communities we serve,” said Austin Bank Senior Vice President Patty Steelman.

“As a new member of Lindale, choosing Lindale ISD Education Foundation as the recipient of our grand opening promotion was a perfect fit,” commented Chairman of the Board Jeff Austin, Jr.  “It is our promise to be a partner and a friend, to help create a better everyday life for our communities, families and businesses.”
